WHAT ARE THE CI SEASONAL SPRINT CONTESTS ?
They consist of 4 contests in a year : one per season
A CI seasonal sprint contest takes place on the saturday following the change of the season.
It is a SPRINT that only last for 3 hours.
During these 3 hours, single operators must log the maximum number of stations possible and EXCHANGE RADIO REPORT + PROGRESSIVE NUMBER
The SPRINT CONTEST is open to ALL radio groups, all operators.

DATES FOR 2020 :
CI AUTUMN SPRINT CONTEST : Saturday 26 of september from 5 PM z (GMT) to 8 PM z (GMT)
CI WINTER SPRINT CONTEST : Saturday 26 of december from 5 PM z (GMT) to 8 PM z (GMT)
(Dates for the 2021 spring sprint contest and summer sprint contest will be anounced at a later date)
FREQUENCIES & MODES :
From 26 MHz to 27 MHz
All modes (USB, LSB, AM, FM) are valid
Please note: all contesters are advised to adhere to their local laws regarding legal frequency use.
EXCHANGE :
RADIO AND SIGNAL REPORT + PROGRESSIVE NUMBER
LOGS:
Log sheets must contain the following contact details : Date of QSO, time in GMT, callsign, frequency, mode, R/S, progressive number.
Logs must be received by the CI HQ within 2 weeks after the sprint contest.
Logs have to be emailed to charlieindiadx@gmail.com
SCORING SYSTEM :
· Each contact is worth TWO points.
. Each DXCC worked is a multiplier.
Example : 19 CI 999 worked 20 different stations in 5 different DXCC, his score is (20 x 2) x 5 = 200 points
The same QRZ can only appear once in your log for the entire duration of sprint contest (multiple entries will not count).
CATEGORIES AND PRIZES :
CI CATEGORY : ALL of the participants will receive an E AWARD. The first one will receive a special prize.
NON CI CATEGORY : All of the participants will receive a special E AWARD
